Americans love football. Although sometimes we put celebrities on a pedestal, at the end of the day, they are normal Americans too. And many of them love their football teams.
For 12 NFL teams, their celebrity fans still have a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at Houston's NRG Stadium after Super Bowl LI. For Rooney and Kate Mara, who are related to both the owners of the Steelers and Giants, they have two chances to be in a victory parade (and thus why they are left out of the Steelers and Giants' sections of this article). Mark Wahlberg experienced that feeling two years ago when the Patriots won a title, and he is itching to have that experience again.
But which team has the best celebrity fan base? "Best" can be interpreted a number of ways. In our rankings, we weigh quantity and quality of celebrities, commitment to their team and class in victory or defeat. Sure, the Cowboys may have a lot of big names in their quarter, but how many actually care? We investigate.
