Tuesday was an emotional day for the NFL, specifically for St. Louis. The NFL announced the Rams will swap the Gateway Arch for the Hollywood Billboard.
Reaction from past and present Rams was mixed. Eric Dickerson, who starred in the 1980s for the Rams during their previous Los Angeles stint, voiced approval.

Many Rams from the St. Louis chapter voiced disappointment. The 1999-2001 "Greatest Show on Turf" included perhaps the most exciting era in franchise history.

The general vibe from current players is to thank the fans in St. Louis, while putting an optimistic outlook on the Southern California move.
Humbly, eternally gratefully: Thank you St. Louis. I'm sorry we fell short the past 8 years. You treated me like family anyways. I love yall

The Rams intend to play in a new stadium in Inglewood by 2019. Until then, the team will use a temporary home stadium, likely the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The franchise called the venue home from 1946-1979.
