After a fourth straight season that didn't result in a playoff appearance, the Giants and Tom Coughlin have parted ways. It's a quiet ending for a coach who will surely have a place in New York lore, having twice led the Giants to surprising Super Bowl victories -- and, impressively, beating the New England Patriots on both occasions.
Coughlin may have been a wacky leader at times, but his successes can't be denied -- and his rapport with players was as strong as they come. No surprise, then, that Coughlin's resignation sparked a flood of positive sentiments from his former players.
Justin Tuck had plenty of positive things to say about Coughlin in a lengthy Instagram post:
