Traffic jams aren't as boring as they used to be. Technology provides victims of gridlock the opportunity to listen to podcasts, play games or FaceTime friends.
But on Thursday, one dude went old school. With his car stuck in traffic on California's U.S. Highway 101 between Redwood City and San Carlos -- traffic was stopped for an hour due to an RV catching fire -- this humble hero hit the hardwood. NBC Bay Area's helicopter cam caught the man running dribbling drills behind his vehicle.

Remember, kids, you can always get better. There's always work to do. This guy gets it.
Ball is life, even on the highway in a massive traffic jam.
