Offensive lineman in the NFL are relatively anonymous, but John Urschel of the Ravens has become such a celebrity for his math prowess that he even has a TV commercial for Bose Headphones with J.J. Watt.
Now Urschel, who is studying for his Ph.D. in math at MIT, is profiled on the season premiere of HBO's Real Sports. Per HBO's release, Urschel will discuss with correspondent Bernard Goldberg "his road to the NFL, future in mathematics and decision to continue playing football, despite the increased risk of brain injury."
