For a few minutes Sunday, Rams punter Johnny Hekker was the baddest man in football. After booming a punt away in Seattle, he laid a hit on Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril.

Seattle would get its revenge. When Hekker punted later in the game, Avril and teammate Michael Bennett frightened Hekker without taking a penalty.

Here are the two plays in one Vine:
After the game, Bennett called Hekker "a little girl."

Earlier in the week, Hekker was named to his second Pro Bowl. He also earned a bid in 2013 when he performed a similar cheap shot act against the Saints that December:
Unfortunately for the Seahawks, the bad guys won yesterday. With nothing to play for but pride and respect, the Rams won their third straight (and second this season against Seattle), 23-17.
Avril retweeted a fan who acknowledged his mental victory over Hekker:
RT @northwestblazer @cliffavril punter beat you up yea ur right!!

Despite the loss, the Seahawks clinched a playoff berth.
