Novak Djokovic, Dan Shulman

Dan Shulman had to pronounce names like Jandel Gustave, Jake Marisnick, Yulieski Gurriel and Jorge Soler while calling ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball between the Astros and Cubs. But the one name he botched was the most famous of them all.

Shulman called Novak Djokovic Djovak Nokovic while reporting his U.S. Open final loss to Stan Wawrinka.

Shulman is recognized as one of the most experienced broadcasters in the business, and Novak Djokovic has been the world No. 1 for the better part of the past five-plus years, which shows how mistakes can happen even at the highest level.

Shulman has been the voice of Sunday Night Baseball since 2011, and in his first season, he handled the news of Osama Bin Laden's death during a Mets-Phillies game.

Shulman was the National Sportscaster of the Year in 2011. He is just one of four announcers to have won that award representing ESPN. Chris Berman, Dan Patrick and Mike Tirico are the others.
