David Ortiz had been the leader in the clubhouse for epic sports selfies after snapping a shot of himself with President Obama.
But a 29-year-old Australian field hockey player might have just put an end to any competition.
Jayde Taylor was taking a selfie with a teammate at The Commonwealth Games in Glasgow when her photo got an unexpected visitor. Taylor's selfie included a smiling Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen also part of a notable tweet last month during the World Cup. Italian striker Mario Balotelli asked for a royal kiss on the cheek if Italy won Group D, which included England.
If we beat Costa Rica i want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen..
