Jarrod Haschert faced his fears with Ronda Rousey.
No, he didn't get in the octagon with the MMA fighter. He asked her on a date.
On Aug. 22, Haschert made headlines when he posted a video asking Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball. Haschert is stationed in North Carolina.

In less than two weeks, the Facebook video garnered more than 4.66 million views, over 200,000 shares, and sparked social media help to persuade Rousey.
On Tuesday, the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion said, "I would go, for sure." Rousey admits Haschert is cute, but she advises him to be a "gentleman" and be careful how far he takes things on the first date.
Rousey is concerned about communicating with Haschert, but the TMZ cameraman is persistent he can make it happen.
"Just find me at Whole Foods," Rousey says.
Rousey's next fight will be against Holly Holm on Nov. 15 at UFC 193. Rousey originally expected to fight in January, which would have conflicted with the Dec. 11 ball.
Rousey can attend, but she wants dates for her friends. When TMZ found her, she was in a Los Angeles parking lot with three others.
"He needs to find dates for my girls and then we'll all go," she said.
