Chandler Parsons' SUV is in need of repairs after a woman crashed her car into it recently, and the Rockets forward is temporarily without his own ride.

Luckily for him, Dwight Howard has a couple backup cars that are nicer than any that most of us will ever drive.

According to Howard's Instagram feed, and as confirmed by the Chronicle, Howard offered Parsons a choice between borrowing his Ferrari and his Maybach. Tough life, huh?

To get the Ferrari from Howard, who earned $21.44 million in salary this season and is one of the world's highest-paid athletes, Parsons had to shave his hair into a mohawk. Perhaps not the greatest challenge, since Parsons has had a mohawk for much of this year.

“Dwight wanted everybody to get Mohawks," Parsons told the Chronicle. "Somehow I snuck away and got the same exact haircut I've had all year. He’s going to make me do it shorter.”

The 25-year-old Parsons, who is still on his rookie salary and making less than $1 million, happily obliged.

“I’m driving that thing every day until we win the championship," Parsons said. "It’s unreal. I don’t know if I’m ever going to drive anything else. It’s nice.”

Here's Parsons' view from behind the wheel:

Parsons, Howard and the rest of the fourth-seeded Rockets face the Portland Trail Blazers in the opening round of the Western Conference playoffs.
